The mission of the Plymouth Area Babe Ruth League/Thundercat Baseball Program is to teach advanced fundamentals of the game of baseball.  We will promote positive sportsmanship, team work, and courage, as well as good citizenship.  Our goal is to govern the league in a way that puts the development of our athletes, not only as players, but as people above all else.  

The PABR board will provide our players with coaches who will work with all players, at all skill levels, and act as positive role models on and off of the playing field.  We will strive to provide the highest quality playing facilities and equipment necessary to play the game.  Lastly, we pledge to promote the long standing pride and traditions of Plymouth Baseball, based on over 40 years of success.

CAL RIPKEN BASEBALL:

8U:

• Ages 5-8
• Registration cost: $95
• Coach Pitch
• Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday (6pm-7pm)
• Holderness Lower Fields
• Possibility of an occasional Saturday game 
• Practices will start mid to late April, dependent upon field conditions

• Player ages are determined by the Babe Ruth League Age Chart

10U:

• Ages 9-10
• Registration cost: $95
• Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday (6pm-7:30pm)
• Chase Field, D&M Park and local school/town fields
• Some games and practices may be moved to Monday, Wednesday or Saturday due to field availability/weather conditions
• Games may also include travel to the Laconia, Meredith, Lincoln and Littleton areas

• Player ages are determined by the Babe Ruth League Age Chart

12U:

• Ages 11-12
• Registration cost: $95
• Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday (6pm-7:30pm)
• Chase Field, D&M Park and local school/town fields
• Some games and practices may be moved to Monday, Wednesday or Saturday due to field availability/weather conditions
• Games may also include travel to the Laconia, Meredith, Lincoln and Littleton areas

BABE RUTH BASEBALL:

16U:

• NEW THIS YEAR - Babe Ruth has moved from a 15U to a 16U format
• Ages 13-16
• Registration cost: $175 (this covers all Tournament and uniform fees)
• Practice and game days will vary
• Season begins toward the end of the middle school season / high school regular season
• The NH State Tournament is 16U, with the possibility of 14U and 13U Tournaments only if there are enough interested teams
• Travel is involved for this level of play
• Player ages are determined by the Babe Ruth League Age Chart

GENERAL INFORMATION:

• Baseball games and practices may be held in variable weather conditions (cold, warm, hot, rain and sometimes even snow) - be prepared!
• Plymouth Thundercats Baseball supplies each player with a hat, team shirt and socks, all which players will keep. We also have league pants that can be borrowed and returned at the end of the season (sizes and styles limited).
• Players need to come to practices and games with their own baseball glove. The league does not provide gloves.
